Wallonia Tech @Bio Asia Taiwan 2026

Join the AWEX business and innovation mission to Taipei from July 13 to 17, 2026, alongside Bio Asia Taiwan, one of the leading biotech and medtech events in the Asia-Pacific region (including Japan, the US and ASEAN countries).

AWEX will host two free booths (18 sqm) at the exhibition, serving as a meeting point and showcase for Walloon companies.

This mission is aimed at startups, scale-ups and innovative companies active in the following sectors:

• Biotechnology: CDMO, CRO, biotech services, biosimilars.
• Medtech and medical devices.
• Precision medicine, digital health and telemedicine.
• Cell therapies and regenerative medicine.
• Applied life sciences research (agritech, biotech, medtech & greentech).

The program notably includes:

• Group visits to major innovation hubs: National Biotechnology Research Park (NBRP), Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB), National Health Research Institute (NHRI), and Taipei Medical University Biomed Accelerator.
• Targeted B2B meetings with Taiwanese companies, laboratories, startups and spinoffs.
• Visits to regional cluster pavilions (Taichung, Hsinchu and Tainan Science Parks) and partner organizations (IAPS–NYCU, TMU Biomed Accelerator).
• Networking events with companies, investors and institutional stakeholders.
• A conference & B2B event on Friday, July 17, 2026, co-organized with the Institute for Information Industry (III) and the Taiwan Bio Industry Association, followed by dedicated B2B sessions.
