AWEX supports Walloon startups in their international development through targeted actions and dedicated financial support schemes.
Explore, test and conquer new markets
Startups (companies <5 years) can benefit from cumulative financial incentives linked to their export maturity, with a 50% advance paid upon approval.
60% contribution for the creation of materials (focus on digital) - Up to €5,000 grant per year
International Communication60% subsidy for exploring a new market or launching a product (trade shows, travel, market research, compliance, etc.) - Up to €15,000, grant depending on the number of participations in trade shows or fairs
Prospecting60% support for opening a prospecting office or joining an incubator abroad.
Establishment outside the EU50 % support for certification costs (audit, compliance, product/process certification) to meet new markets’ requirements - Up to €15,000 per year
Certification (HPI)In addition, certified consultants are available through the chèques-entreprises to support startups in their internationalization strategy, in particular, the “Consultance Export” and “Booster Export” vouchers.
