Startup Boost is Wallonie Entreprendre's early-stage investment program for tech startups in Wallonia.
The program provides a structured €100,000 convertible loan investment, enabling founders to accelerate development, validate their market and prepare for subsequent funding rounds.
What is Startup Boost?
Startup Boost supports very young technology-driven startups with a first structured investment and a clear selection process.
The objective is to help startups demonstrate market traction and build the foundations for scalable growth
Each call acts as a launchpad, combining :
- a first structured investment,
- a clear and fast selection process,
- evaluation by experienced entrepreneurs, industry executives and investors.

Standardized and transparent terms - Structured support when needed
If a startup is not yet supported by an incubator or structured program, the investment may be conditional upon setting up coaching or structured support.
After the investment, selected startups benefit from regular follow-up, including quarterly exchanges and ongoing interaction with the Wallonie Entreprendre team. - Part of a broader ecosystem
Startup Boost is embedded in the Walloon entrepreneurial continuum and is complementary to more mature funding instruments.

8 weeks
Each call is reviewed by a Selection Committee composed of experienced entrepreneurs, industry executives and investors. The objective is to challenge applications against real market conditions and identify startups with strong scaling potential.
